For newcomer to Canada! Start a new career
The LRT is coming to Hamilton! Major construction will begin in 2019 which gives students and job seekers time to prepare and upgrade their skills.
To get us ready for this monumental project, WPH is working on a project to share skills information on the occupations created and affected by the construction of the LRT. This project aims to shed light on the impact of this major infrastructure project and inspire students and job seekers alike to see the great opportunities available.
Our report will highlight types of jobs that will be available throughout the construction of LRT and skills, competencies, and training necessary to be successful in careers in these fields.
We would like input from our community partners on what you’d like to see in the guides, and what information is the most beneficial for your learners, students, and clients.
If you have any questions or would like to be involved please contact:
Liz Enriquez, liz.enriquez@workforceplanninghamilton.ca or at 905-521-5777 ext. 12.
You are invited to showcase your services and learn about other services at the Hamilton Community Service Provider Expo!
