The Skills for Trades Program is an educational project to provide information and resources about how to enter the skilled trades (Examples: electrical, plumbing, millwright, steam fitter etc.);
The program includes mentorship by people in the skilled trades, workshops, and education/employment coaching;
It is available for newcomers, refugees and immigrant youth including temporary international workers, privately sponsored individuals and those who have worked in the trades previously and need Canadian experience;
The program does not launch participants into the trades upon completion of the program, rather it connects them to educational opportunities and creates a plan for success;
