This series of workshops, held over four days, will identify and strengthen skills that are essential for employment.

YWCA Hamilton is pleased to announce the Graduation Ceremony for 27 young women from the SISTER program (Success in Service Training and Employment Retention) scheduled on Wednesday October 15, 2014, 12:00 p.m. at YWCA Hamilton. Please find RSVP information below.
This free program enables young women between the age of 15 to 30 who face barriers to employment in developing their skills and making successful transitions into the labour market. SISTER offers a combination of interventions including, job placement, individualized advisement, coaching and support. Participants receive assistance in skill identification, resume writing, interview skills and job maintenance. In addition, participants receive certification in WHMIS, Smart Serve, Safe Food Handling & First Aid/CPR certification. This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s Youth Skills Link Program.
