You Are Invited to Strengthening Services To Newcomers in Hamilton: Connecting the System

October 03, 2011

Attention front-line staff:

In light of recent changes to Hamilton’s settlement services do you
know where to send your newcomer clients for services?

Find the answers to your questions by joining your colleagues for an
interactive half day community information forum on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Scottish Rite.

*Visit 40 displays

*Listen to 5 brief workshops on key issues that affect newcomers such as:

Settlement, Health, Education, Employment, and Housing

Provide feedback in interactive sessions on what is working, and what needs to be strengthened, in the area of newcomers services.

You are invited to register for either a morning or afternoon session.
The information shared will be the same in each session.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please indicate on the registration form if you have dietary
restrictions and every effort will be made to accommodate.

Contact Cyndi at cyndi.ingle@htab.ca if you require translation for
the Deaf services.
