The Career Focus program, funded in part by the Government of Canada, will run from April 1, 2015 until March 31, 2016.
Tthe program aims to help inexperienced post-secondary graduates gain career-related work experience related to their educational backgrounds.
To be considered for the Career Focus program, post-secondary graduates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
· Between ages 15 and 30 (inclusive);
· Post-secondary graduate;
· Out of school;
· Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada;
· Legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations; and
· Not in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI)
Preference will be given to those who have been unemployed for 6 months or longer.
We will be scheduling information sessions at our Hamilton office located at 110 James Street South. We will also post up-coming session dates on our website.
