Founded in 1988, the Immigrants Working Centre (formerly Immigrant Women’s Centre) is an equality seeking, anti-racist, charitable organization dedicated to the social, political and economic inclusion of newcomers to Canada in a just and supportive Canadian society.
The IWC provides essential services including life-skills development, English language training, Essential Skills for Employment training, orientation and settlement support for newcomers, and information and referral services for women and their families.
IWC’s main programs include:
