Career Development Centre provides citizens with free employment services that can assist with job searching at our resource centre

1 to 1 Employment Counselling: Employment Development Counsellor assists Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program recipients with one to one customized employment counseling

Employment Workshops: Offer group seminars to help job seekers improve their job search skills, prepare resumes and cover letters, improve interview skills, and assist with career and personal development

Helping Hands Program is a 26 week pre-employment program to provide Ontario Works or Ontario Disability participants with meaningful job skills. The program provides home maintenance services to seniors and people who are disabled within the Hamilton community

Employment Placement Services Program offers supports and services to employers hiring in the Hamilton area. Our Job Development team connects with employers to learn about their business and provide qualified and skilled candidate that meet their unique needs

Community Placement allows Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Program recipients to volunteer with non- profit and public organizations.

Skills Development Funding is available to eligible Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support recipients for training opportunities. Training is linked to the local labour market demands
